Once again, Gaylon and Marianne will talk about the whopping 23 percent of the chapters that talk about, in a very proud way, the notable Texans’ family connections to the early Republic of Texas days prior to statehood in February 1846.

The authors travel to Kerrville, Texas, to reprise their presentation about their notable Texans’ Republic of Texas roots for the Joshua D. Brown Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Gaylon and Marianne packed the house. The store ran out of books and had to re-order for audience members.

The St. Anthony Hotel hosted the co-authors for a workday in its board room in mid-August. And while they were there, the hotel's PR person recorded a lengthy interview to post on its website. Our very first autograph session at the popular Texas Star Trading Co. in Abilene, where Marianne signed books and talked with the locals.
